This range of tea wares, Cockatrice pattern # 4863, were first made in the late 1800s. The bone china is decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting an exotic bird & floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background.

Sugar bowl with a wide scalloped rim  – 5 cm high x 11 cm across.

Minton’s hallmark on the underside, date mark for 1873 – 1912.

Excellent condition, fabulous colours, no damage or repair, age is over 100 years

Wonderful English Fine china from the Minton Factory, Stoke on Trent since 1793. Minton is regarded as the best of the English china factories and as such is very sought after by collectors.
