Daffodils Tea Trio


An extremely rare tea set, hand painted by the Ladies of Shelley China in the late 1940s / 50s. Fine bone china, bright white, in the elegant footed cup shape Richmond and decorated with bright yellow daffodils and green trim.

The pattern Jonquil – 13670.

All pieces are marked with the green Shelley England factory stamp to base.

Tea Cup – 7 cm x 8.3 cm. 

Saucer – 14 cm diameter.

Plate – 15.5 cm diameter.

Excellent condition, looks unused.

The collector societies for Shelley china are worldwide, from it’s 1827 inception to the close of the pottery in 1966 it’s china has been a firm favourite in homes. Based in Staffordshire, the pottery crafted thin translucent, yet strong china items in thousands of different patterns, noted by number and sometimes by name.
