Gilded Howard Sprays Trio


Beautiful, fully gilded bone china Tea Set by Hammersley. Made in England circa 1912,  this set is decorated with hand-painted sprays of flowers on a cream ground with wide borders of delicate gilding.

Hammersley and Co. has a history of producing high quality, finely decorated bone china. The company began in 1862 as a china manufacturer at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent and went through several name changes before the works finally closed in 1982.  The Hammersley name was sold to Aynsley in 1989.
