Fabulous tea set decorated with Landscape panels on pure white fine china with a green border and gilded scalloped rims.
The china is marked on each piece with the back stamp – Lawley’s Estd Phillip’s 1760 Regent St. Made in England – the Phillips name was acquired by Lawleys and some ware produced in the Lawley Group was sold with a Lawleys/Philips mark. The ‘Regent Street’ was for their Cheltenham retail shop.
The set consists of –
2 Teacups with loop handles – 5 cm x 9.5 cm diameter
2 Saucers – 14 cm diameter
2 Square tea plates – 17 cm crossways
1 Milk jug – 9 cm high x 13 cm lip to handle
1 Sugar bowl – 12.5 cm diameter x 6.5 cm high
