Roanoke Plate

£15.00

A gorgeous tea set from the famous Royal Worcester factory. The Roanoke pattern was designed by C.B. Simmonds, Art Director at Royal Worcester from 1935. The pattern was first introduced during the austerity period of the 1940’s, when patterned china was produced only for export. It was named after a little river in Virginia and designed mainly for the American market. The pattern z2827 was only produced on Fine Bone China tableware, in the fluted Warmstry shape and has clusters of summer flowers on ivory ground, edged with gold.

Large Cake Plate – 23 cm

Fabulous quality and condition, little if any signs of use.
