Stanley Floral Tea Cup and Saucer

Beautiful Staffordshire trio made by Stanley China at Longton. Established in 1875 the pottery has produced some wonderful hand painted tea sets.

This 1950s tea cup and saucer have bright enamel bouquets of roses hand painted in the centre of both cup and saucer. Wide mint green bands are enhanced with gold fine lines and garlands of flowers. The gilded scalloped rims enhance the flavour of tea by letting air in with each mouthful.

Peony shape tea cup – 5.5 cm tall x 10 cm diameter

Saucer – 14.3 cm diameter

Lovely quality and condition, little if any use.
