Thomas Goode English Roses Breakfast Set
£30.00
Thomas Goode is a china retailer in Mayfair, London. Established in 1827 by Thomas Goode and latterly expanded by his son William, it was William who travelled extensively searching for quality china for the shop which attracted several notable customers including Queen Victoria and the Tsar of Russia. Today it holds two royal warrants to supply the British royal household, one from Queen Elizabeth II and the other from the Prince of Wales.
This fabulous tea set was made for Goode’s in the early part of the twentieth century, likely Coalport as it is a fine quality translucent china with classic footed bases to cup, bowl and jug. Each piece has been beautifully decorated by a skilled artist, having a traditional English pattern of pink enamel roses and for added luxury burnished gold.
