Antique tea set comprising a large cake plate and trio by Wileman Foley in the red Ivy Border pattern 4337, cup is the scalloped Fairy shape. The back stamp can be found on all pieces, dating them to 1890-91.

The Shelley story begins about 1860 when the Wileman family, owners of the Foley works, a large pottery between Longton and Fenton in Staffordshire, England, built a second pottery for the purpose of producing fine china. Wileman & Company was formed in 1872 to run the Foley China Works (replaced J. F. Wileman).
