Rare 1930s Art Deco Shelley tea set. Oxford shape cake/sandwich plate marked with the green Shelley England factory stamp to base and red lettering C for the shape. Beautifully hand painted with orange Physalis ( cape gooseberry ), painter signature B and pattern number 12299, with the handles and rims painted a burnt orange colour.

Large Square Plate - 25 cm handle to handle

Excellent condition, no staining or crazing, looks unused.

Rare 1930s Art Deco Shelley tea set. Oxford shape cup, saucer and plate, all marked with the green Shelley England factory stamp to base and red lettering C for the shape. Beautifully hand painted with orange Physalis ( cape gooseberry ), painter signature B and pattern number 12299, with the handles and rims painted a burnt orange colour.

Trio consists of

1 Teacup - Height: 7 cms x 8.5 cms diameter

1 Saucer - 14 cms

1 Square Tea plate - 16 cm

Excellent condition, no staining or crazing, looks unused.
