A fabulous art deco bone china tea set made by AB Jones & Sons (Ltd), a company based at the Grafton Works in Longton, one of the key Staffordshire Potteries towns. The company used 'Grafton' and 'Royal Grafton' as trade names.

The beautiful Wistaria pattern (# 5597) is available here on a pale lemon ground and decorated with vines of yellow and orange flowers. Typical art deco shaped cake plate and trio consisting of a footed conical teacup with scalloped rim and angular gold handle, the saucer too is a conical shape, the plate square and all pieces are lavishly gilded.

Cake Plate - 25 cm x 25 cm

Tea cup - 7.5 cm tall x 9 cm diameter

Saucer - 13.5 cm diameter

Plate - 17.5 cm diameter

Lovely quality and condition, little if any use.
