1916 Children’s Tea Set


An extremely rare children’s tea set made by the Paragon Star china company. Beautifully made by hand from bone china and decorated with farmyard chicken scenes.

Made in the Staffordshire Potteries, England circa 1916 by Paragon Star China Co. Ltd. Atlas Works, Longton.

Factory back stamp on most pieces has the star identifying mark of Paragon Fine Bone China, made in England. Pattern # 333.

The set consists of a lidded teapot, two cups and saucers, a plate, jug and bowl.

Teapot 11 cm to top of lid – 16 cm spout to handle.

Superb condition, no damage/crazing.

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held two Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
