Coalport ‘Taeping’ Trio


Fabulous early Coalport bone china set of a large coffee cup, saucer and breakfast plate. A rare pattern, ‘Taeping’, is a blue and white Chinoiserie design on a white ground with gilding to the cup handle and all rims. The cup is in the traditional Coalport footed shape, made around 1875 according to the factories backstamps.

Fabulous set of late 19th century English bone china from the Coalport factory. This thriving pottery in Coalbookdale, Staffordshire produced a variety of tablewares, mostly overglaze decorated in flower designs,  from around 1750 until it’s closure in 1926.
