Elegant Hammersley bone china Tea Set made in England during the early 1900s. Dresden Sprays is a popular design of hand painted floral bouquets on pure white bone china with a fine gilded overlay pattern. The set has a gorgeous peony shaped tea cup with scalloped rim to make your tea even more flavoursome. 

Factory mark on the underside circa 1912 – Dresden Sprays – pattern number 12673.

Description

Hammersley and Co. has a history of producing high quality, finely decorated bone china. The company began in 1862 as a china manufacturer at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent and went through several name changes before the works finally closed in 1982.  The Hammersley name was sold to Aynsley in 1989.
