ANTIQUE DUCHESS CHINA TEA SET – A pretty antique Edwardian era bone china set made by Edwards and Browns of Longton, Staffordshire who traded under the name Duchess China. The trio set comprises of tea cup, saucer and side plate in cobalt blue with applied gold and Imari style pattern.
Some pieces are stamped ‘Duchess China E & B L’. All have the Pattern # 680606. Circa 1910.

Description

Edwards and Brown were china manufacturers at the Victoria Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. Established in 1880, using the trade name ‘Duchess China’ they manufactured classically designed patterned ranges of Fine Bone China products in the Heart of the Worlds ceramic industry.
