An extremely rare tea set for one.

This range of tea wares, Cockatrice pattern # 4863, were first made in the late 1800s. The bone china is decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting an exotic bird & floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background.

Jug – 9 cm x 9cm spout to handle

Bowl – 4.8 cm x 7.3 cm diameter

Minton’s hallmark on the underside, dates to 1912.

Excellent condition, fabulous colours, just a speck of enamel missing from the plate –  age is over 100 years
