Paragon bone china teapot – Design : Rockingham – Oriental birds in a floral display with gilded classical scrolls and rims..

Made in the Staffordshire Potteries, England circa 1950s by Paragon China Co. Ltd. Atlas Works, Longton.

Base stamp – By Appointment to H.M. The Queen. China Potters. Fine Bone China. Rockingham. England.

Teapot holds approx. 1 1/2 pints – 6 cups.

Lovely condition, no damage. The colours are excellent, tiny rub to the gilding on handle and spout where it has been held.

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held two Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
