The collector societies for Shelley china are worldwide, from it’s 1827 inception to the close of the pottery in 1966 it’s china has been a firm favourite in homes. Based in Staffordshire, the pottery crafted thin translucent, yet strong china items in thousands of different patterns, noted by number and sometimes by name.

Pretty 1930s tea set for two people in the blue colorway of pattern number 0251, with pink and blue hand coloured flowers on green stems on pure white china with blue handle and rims, in the Cambridge shape.

Set consists of 

2 Teacups – Height: 6.5cms  (2 1/2″)

2 Saucers – Diameter: 14cms (5 1/2″)

2 Square Tea plates – 16.5cms ( 6 1/2″)

Sugar Bowl – 7.5 cm (3″ diameter)

Milk Jug – 9.5 cm (3 3/4″) tall.

Excellent condition, no damage.
