Commissioned in the latter half of the 19th Century by Count Albert Apponyi, Herend’s ‘Apponyi’ still remains one of the most iconic porcelain dinner services in history. Each piece in the collection is beautifully handmade and hand-painted in Hungary to this day, adorned with intricate floral patterns and gracefully bending leaves surrounded by a stylised edge detailed in 24 karat gold.
