Art Deco tea set from the Staffordshire pottery Paragon China. Hand painted with bright enamels of green, yellow and blue flowers, cup has a gilded foot and handle, gilded rims.

Inscribed on base ‘ Hand Painted China by Paragon England ‘ – Dated 1929 – 1933 – Reg # 717595.

1 footed tea cup  – 6.2 cm high x 8 cm diameter.

1 Saucer – 13.3 cm diameter

1 octagonal tea plate – 17.5 cm

Lovely condition, good strong colours, some gilding rub on the plate corners and cup handle. 

Half price as the cup has a near invisible 1 cm fine hairline from the cup rim.

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held three different Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen Mary, By appointment to the Queen Elizabeth and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
