Paragon bone china cabinet cup and saucer. Beautiful scalloped rimmed peony shape teacup and saucer, hand painted with a posy of flowers in the cup, with wide cream and ruby bands ornately decorated with gilt leaves.

Base mark By appointment to HM Queen Mark – circa 1957

1 footed peony shaped tea cup  – 5 cm high x 10 cm diameter.

1 Saucer – 14 cm diameter

Lovely condition, colours and gilding are excellent.

Description

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held two Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
