Pretty 1940s tea set in the blue colour way of “Wild Flowers”, pattern number 13668. A very popular design, Wild Flowers are hand coloured bluebells and cornflowers with pink campion, on pure white china with blue handle, rims and footed cup all in the Henley shape.

Trio consists of 

1 Teacup – Height: 6.8 cms x 8.4 cms diameter

1 Saucer – 14.5 cms

1 Tea plate – 15.5 cm diameter

Description

The collector societies for Shelley china are worldwide, from it’s 1827 inception to the close of the pottery in 1966 it’s china has been a firm favourite in homes. Based in Staffordshire, the pottery crafted thin translucent, yet strong china items in thousands of different patterns, noted by number and sometimes by name.
