RARE Victorian Dessert Service circa 1860. A fabulous set in superb condition, unused cabinet piece.

Each piece hand decorated with cobalt enamel and gilded. 

Cake / Dessert Plate – 21 cm diameter.

The Wedgwood story began in 1759 in Burslem, England with Josiah Wedgwood an independant potter. And since the time of Queen Charlotte, Wedgwood collections were to grace the tables of British monarchs and many other illustrious Heads of State, such as in the Vatican, the Kremlin and the White House.
