Aynsley china is known for it’s high-quality, strong, and brilliantly white bone china. It gained Royal patronages firstly from Queen Victoria, who gave the Royal seal of approval used in their factory mark, and latterly Queen Elizabeth. This rare tea set was made circa 1910 at John Aynsley’s Portland works in Staffordshire for the quality china retailer Temple & Crook of Belgrave Square, London. The china is a thin bright white porcelain hand decorated with a central floral basket, flower posies and a blue ribbon band.
