This range of  china, Cockatrice pattern # 4863, was first made in the late 1800s. Each piece has been decorated by hand with enamel paints depicting an exotic bird & floral decoration in greens, pinks, reds, blues & browns on a white background.

Rare Hot water pot with pewter lid – 18 cm high x 11 cm across the base.

Minton’s hallmark on the underside of each piece, circa 1912.

Excellent condition just a couple of spots of green enamel missing., fabulous colours.
