Circa 1860, a wonderful set of English Fine china from the Minton Factory, Stoke on Trent (since 1793). Minton is regarded as the best of the English china factories and as such is very sought after by collectors.

This early range of tableware is made in the Royal fluted shape and decorated by hand with Minton’s classic Turquoise enamel in a jewelled swag, with cobalt blue bands and heavily gilded on a pure white ground.

 Marked on the reverse side with a pattern # g1104 – Minton puce factory globe and the china retailers John Mortock, London.
