Rare Art Deco tea set from the Staffordshire pottery Paragon China. Hand painted Yellow crocus decorate the square plate, round conical saucer and conical tea cup with angular yellow handle and black ribs.

Base mark in black signed ‘ Hand Painted China by Paragon England ‘ – Dated 1929-33 – Reg.no. 766514

5 yellow footed tea cup  – 6.5 cm high x 9.5 cm diameter.

6 Saucer – 13 cm diameter

6 octagonal tea plate – 14 cm

Cake Plate 25 cm handle to handle

Milk Jug  –  7.5 cm high x 14 cm lip to handle

Lovely condition, good strong colours, no damage.

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held three different Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen Mary, By appointment to the Queen Elizabeth and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
