This early Paragon Star tea set has been made in a dainty scallop shape bone china, transfer printed with a ruby red enamel regency pattern of swags and pendants with gilded rims.

Made in the Staffordshire Potteries, England by the Paragon Star China Company. Factory back stamp on all pieces has the star identifying mark of Paragon China dating it to circa 1905.

2 Tea Cups – 6 cm x 6.5 cm diameter – tiny flat chip to 1 cup

2 Saucers – 12.5 cm diameter

2 Tea Plates – 16 cm diameter

Lovely condition – 120 years old – a very tiny amount of underglaze age crazing.

The Paragon China Company was a British manufacturer of bone china from 1919 to 1960, based in Stoke-on-Trent. It held two Royal Warrants – By appointment to the Queen and By appointment to the Queen Mother.
